Dan Riverman

Dan Riverman first came to public attention in 2011 when he was featured on the soundtrack of the TVI drama “Anjo Meu”. He then moved to London, where he worked with various producers. After releasing his debut singles “Fragile Hands” and “Dark Haired Girl”, the success of the EP “Hers” in 2016 continued with his third single “Sea and the Breeze” along with a full tour of Portugal. In 2018, he released the single “Singing King”, which was featured in the TVI soap opera “A Teia”.

In 2019, Dan participated in Festival da Canção with the song “Lava”, his first song in Portuguese. This March, he released “To Live a Dream”, which will feature on his upcoming album that will be released in September 2020. | Find out more about this artist and others like them at

Eurojury is the flagship broadcast of Showcase, celebrating the music of the Eurovision Song Contest with juries of up to 180 entertainment industry professionals. Rob Lilley has hosted the televised event since the fourth edition in 2016, succeeding Josh Dubovie and Linda Martin during the show's time as a radio broadcast. Eurojury is known for producing an accurate simulation of the results likely to be seen at the Eurovision Song Contest in May and is often used by bookmakers and broadcasters as a guide and prediction of the grand final result.

Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest

Portugal debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1964 represented by Antonio Calvario, the country finished last scoring nul points. Prior to 2016, the best result of Portugal was 6th place which came in 1996 when Lucia Moniz performed in Oslo. She scored 92 points, receiving the 12 points from both Norway and Cyprus. Since their debut, Portugal have missed a total of five contests. In 2017, Portugal produced a spectacular win when Salvador Sobral took home the crystal microphone with his song “Amar Pelos Dois.” The 2018 contest was held in Lisbon, Portugal for the first time. | Find out more about this artist and others like them at
