4Fun are a Lithuanian band made up of four members – Julija Ritčik (vocalist and guitarist), Justas Jasenka (vocalist and guitarist), Rimantas Jasenka (bassist), and Laimonas Staniulionis (percussionist). Created in 2001, the band have participated in numerous festivals and competitions.

Following their appearances in Lithuania’s Eurovision selections in 2005 and 2006, the band won the show in 2007, and went on to represent their country at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland. With their song “Love or Leave”, they finished in 21st position in the final. Julija went on to participate as a soloist in the 2008 selection, placing 12th in the final.

A year after their Eurovision appearance, 4Fun went on to record a track with Latvian duo Valters and Kaža called “With U”, which became a hit in Latvia. The band also released a new album in 2009 which featured a CD in Lithuanian and one in English.

Eurojury is the flagship broadcast of Showcase, celebrating the music of the Eurovision Song Contest with juries of up to 180 entertainment industry professionals. Rob Lilley has hosted the televised event since the fourth edition in 2016, succeeding Josh Dubovie and Linda Martin during the show's time as a radio broadcast. Eurojury is known for producing an accurate simulation of the results likely to be seen at the Eurovision Song Contest in May and is often used by bookmakers and broadcasters as a guide and prediction of the grand final result.

Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest

Lithuania debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, however on their debut they finished in last place with nul points. Lithuania didn’t return to the contest until 1999 when Aiste finished 20th with the song “Strazdas”. Lithuania’s best result came in 2006 when LT United performed “We Are The Winners”; they finished 6th in the final with a total of 162 points. Lithuania’s only other top 10 finish came in 2016 when Donny Montell performed “I’ve Been Waiting For This Night” in Stockholm, he received 12 points from the public in Ireland, Norway & United Kingdom. | Find out more about this artist and others like them at
